Dominic Caserta
VTA Board Member

Newly appointed for 2008, Santa Clara City Council Member Dominic Caserta serves on the VTA Board of Directors representing City Group 2 (the North County Cities of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale).   He also serves as a member of the Transit Planning and Operations Committee and the County Expressways Policy Advisory Committee.   He previously served on VTA’s Policy Advisory Committee representing Santa Clara from 2003–2007.

Member Caserta currently serves on the Santa Clara City Council.  He was elected to the Council in 2002 and again in 2006. 

Prior civic service includes as a Commissioner of the City of Santa Clara Historical and Landmarks Commission for several years.  His community service includes serving on numerous clubs and committees.

Member Caserta is a fifth generation resident of Santa Clara.  He is a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory and holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University.  He currently works as a teacher at Santa Clara High School and is a licensed real estate agent.
