VTA Celebrates the Lunar New Year at the 11th Annual Vietnamese Spring Festival!

San Jose- It’s the Lunar New Year of the Rat and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will be part of the festivities. VTA is a proud partner of the 11th Annual Vietnamese Spring Festival and Parade in downtown San Jose this year. The event will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Parkside Hall, near the McEnery Convention Center along Park Avenue.
The richness of Asian culture is displayed in vibrant form at the 11th Annual Vietnamese Spring Festival and Parade. The parade features traditional lion and dragon dancers, decorated floats and cultural groups from throughout the Bay Area. Activities begin at 11:00 a.m. on Market Street between Santa Clara and San Carlos Streets and include arts and crafts, live music, cultural performances and authentic Asian cuisine.
