San Jose, Calif. - Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will operate transit service on Independence Day, Friday, July 4, as follows:
VTA Bus Service Sunday/Holiday Schedule
VTA Light Rail Service Special Holiday Schedule
Great America Shuttle Special Holiday Schedule
Light Rail Shuttles No Service
(IBM/Hitachi, Dash, River Oaks)
ACE Train/Shuttles No Service
Dumbarton Express No Service
Highway 17 Express Sunday/Holiday Schedule
Caltrain Sunday/Holiday Schedule
MST 55 Sunday/Holiday Schedule
Light rail passengers planning to attend the patriotic celebration in downtown San Jose on the Fourth of July or other fireworks shows throughout the weekend are encouraged to purchase the VTA’s 8-hour Light Rail Excursion Pass, on their way to the event.
In observance of the Independence Day Holiday, Friday, July 4, 2008, VTA’s Downtown Customer Service Center at 2 North First Street and administration offices at 3331 North First Street in San Jose will be closed. VTA customer service will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. by calling (408) 321-2300, (TDD Only) (408) 321-2330.
