IFB VTA08-708-P04: CARCARDS-PRINTING OF VTA BUS AND LIGHT RAIL ON-BOARD ADVERTISING

Comments: VTA is soliciting bids for the printing of Carcards; printed materials that are displayed inside VTA bus and light rail vehicles. The finished product (Carcard) is inserted into a frame that is permanently mounted to the bus or light rail vehicle, near the top, inside the passenger compartment. The infroamtion printed on the carcard changes on a semi-regular basis, and includes one, two, three, and four color printing. The carcards are printed on 0.020 Styrene, 0.024 Cardstock, and Flexcon BUSmark® (or equal) decal material. Many items are printed on only one medium when printed.

Comments: Addendum #4 issued to notify all potential bidders of removal of one radiator(VTA #109731) from contract and increase the annual allowed escalation factor from 3% to 6%. NO OTHER CHANGES AT THIS TIME. Addendum #3--new IFB and Bid Form, and extention of Bid due date through 11:00am on November 20,2008. Addendum #2--extension of bid due date. New revised due date is 11:00am on Tuesday,November 4th,2008. A revised IFB and Scope of Work will be issued as soon as VTA completes the revisions. Addendum #1 --potential changes to the IFB as a result of the prebid meeting held on August 29, 2008. VTA will have internal meetings to discuss any changes and will issue Addendum #2 within the next 2 weeks to address the neccesary changes.
