East San Jose Community Based Transportation Plan Study Area Map
The project study area is roughly 10 square miles of mixed land use in east San Jose. It is generally bound by Mabury Road to the north, Fleming Ave, White Rd, and Toyon Ave to the east, Ocala Ave and I-280 to the South, and Coyote Creek to the west. Highway 101, running north-south, cuts through the western portion of the study area. Interstate 280 enters the study area on the western side, crosses Hwy 101 (at which point it changes name designation to Interstate 680), then makes a turn in the middle of the study area, finally exiting the study area on the northern side. Three major east-west streets cross through the study area, McKee Rd, Alum Rock Ave, and Story Rd, from north to south. Three major north-south streets cut through the study area, King Rd, Capitol Ave, and White Rd, from west to east.
